Arrival of the Sunny Fortune ship at Corinto Port inaugurates a maritime route between Nicaragua and China

Tomorrow, August 1st, the direct maritime commercial route between Nicaragua and the People's Republic of China will be inaugurated, announced Comrade Vice President Rosario Murillo.

"Comrades, tomorrow we will be inaugurating the direct maritime commercial route between Nicaragua and the People's Republic of China. Today, the Sunny Fortune ship has arrived at Corinto port," she said.

"And it has arrived from Tianjin Port, China. This ship has inaugurated precisely this direct maritime and commercial route to advance commercial relations between Nicaragua and China. Tomorrow we will be in Corinto for an inauguration ceremony" she detailed.

"Authorities from our government, local authorities, the embassy, the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China, and shipping and customs companies will be present" she noted.

"We are also working to receive equipment and materials that will be used in the construction of the Punta Huete International Airport, which our Government is developing with the Chinese company CAMC. We will have more economic exchange between Nicaragua and China and more opportunities for Nicaraguan and Chinese entrepreneurs to take advantage of the benefits and special conditions of the Free Trade Agreement that our governments have signed" she concluded.
