Today in Beijing, a Delegation from the Government of Nicaragua, together with the China International Development Cooperation Agency (CIDCA), signed a series of documents to expand China's cooperation with Nicaragua.
On behalf of CIDCA, the documents were signed by Comrade Luo Zhaohui, President of the Agency, and for Nicaragua, they were signed by Comrade Laureano Ortega Murillo, Presidential Advisor.
The signed documents include the "Memorandum of Understanding between the International Development Cooperation Agency of the People's Republic of China and the Secretariat of the Presidency of the Republic of Nicaragua on Development Cooperation Planning between the People's Republic of China and the Republic of Nicaragua during the Period 2025-2027" the "Economic and Technical Cooperation Agreement between the Government of the People's Republic of China and the Government of the Republic of Nicaragua" and the Exchange of Notes on the provision of buses for Nicaraguan public transportation.
CIDCA actively cooperates with Nicaragua in the sectors of Health, Energy, Housing, Food Security, Transportation, and Human Resource Training.
The signing of the documents took place within the framework of the Second High-Level Conference of the Global Shared Action Forum organized by China.
The Nicaraguan delegation includes Comrades Laureano Ortega Murillo, Presidential Advisor; Valdrack Jaentschke, Minister Advisor to the President for International Affairs; and Michael Campbell, Nicaraguan Ambassador to China.
