They hold a meeting prior to the XVII China-Latin America and the Caribbean Business Summit

Representatives of institutions and the Sandinista Good Government held a meeting with members of the Chinese delegation participating in the XVII China-Latin America and the Caribbean Business Summit, which will be held on November 18 and 19 in Nicaragua.


The meeting was chaired by comrade Laureano Ortega Murillo, Presidential Advisor for the Promotion of Investments, Trade and International Cooperation; Comrade Yang Zhen, Vice President of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and Comrade Ren Hongbin, President of the Chinese Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), who lead the Chinese delegation in the country. Comrade Laureano Ortega Murillo, Presidential Advisor for the Promotion of Investments, Trade and International Cooperation, on behalf of the Government of Reconciliation and National Unity, Commander Daniel Ortega and Comrade Rosario Murillo, welcomed them and expressed their gratitude to President Xi Jinping, to the Communist Party of China, to the Chinese Government and People, for having delegated them to lead this great business-institutional delegation of the People's Republic of China.


He shared that as part of the agenda of this visit, President Commander Daniel Ortega and Vice President Compañera Rosario Murillo have directed the colleagues who direct the Ministries that are actively working with the People's Republic of China to make a presentation of the cooperation that has been achieved. developing, since the reestablishment of diplomatic relations, to express gratitude for the fraternal and mutually beneficial cooperation, the result of the historical brotherhood that has existed between the parties the Sandinista National Liberation Front and the Communist Party of China.


The Presidential Advisor recalled that on January 1 of this year, the bilateral Free Trade Agreement between Nicaragua and China came into force, which has opened the doors for the export of Nicaraguan products to that large market and the import of Chinese products, the promotion of investments and ventures and new projects with companies from the People's Republic of China.
