Nicaraguan delegation promotes investment, trade and tourism in Turkey

Delegation from the Government and People of the Republic of Nicaragua is holding meetings with businesses in Turkey to present the business and tourism potential of our country.

The Nicaraguan delegation is composed of Mr. Laureano Ortega Murillo, Presidential Advisor for Investment, Trade and International Cooperation; Mr. Valdrack Jaentschke, Presidential Advisor for International Affairs; Ms. Tatiana García, Nicaraguan Ambassador to Turkey; and Mr. Mehmet Dinçerler, Honorary Consul of Nicaragua to the Republic of Türkiye, based in Istanbul.

The Nicaraguan representatives met with the Turkish Business Council for Central America and the Caribbean (DEIK) to present the investment and trade opportunities and the Nicaraguan legal framework, as well as to learn about the capabilities and functions of the Turkish business conglomerate. The meeting was headed by Mr. Mahmut Er, Deputy Director of the Council.

A meeting was also held with Turkish Airlines to promote air connections and tourism between Turkey and Nicaragua.
