In this context, Nicaraguan authorities held an important meeting with Nicolas Candy, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the British mining consortium Condor Gold, who is visiting the country to review the progress of the projects the company is developing in the mining sector.
During the meeting, Laureano Ortega Murillo, Presidential Advisor for the Promotion of Investment, Trade, and International Cooperation, discussed the prospects for expanding the company's operations in Nicaragua.
"With this important delegation, we will review the progress of the La India Mine project, the expansion prospects for continuing to work in our country, generating more jobs, creating prosperity, and projecting Nicaragua to the world as a safe and attractive destination for investment" Ortega stated.
The meeting highlighted the consortium's interest in further consolidating its presence in Nicaragua. generating employment, boosting the local economy, and contributing to the well-being of Nicaraguan families.

“Likewise, we will be meeting with highly experienced business leaders in other areas that could be of interest for exploring investments in our country and in all sectors of the economy” added the presidential advisor.
“Nicaragua, with its transparent legal framework and the resources provided by our government and its institutions, facilitates these investment processes” stated Ortega Murillo.
The visit by the president of Condor Gold includes tours of mining projects under development and meetings with authorities linked to the energy, mining, and investment promotion sectors.
This outreach also reaffirms the interest of international investors in continuing to work in Nicaragua, strengthening strategic alliances that drive economic growth, job creation, and the country's positioning in global markets.
