Chinese entrepreneurs will arrive for a business roundtable

A delegation of investors from the People's Republic of China will arrive in the country from August 18 to 21. They will hold business roundtables, forums, and sign contracts with national companies, Laureano Ortega, Presidential Advisor for Investments, Trade, and International Cooperation, stated on Tuesday.

He mentioned that during the entrepreneurs' stay, Nicaragua's potential for investment and business establishment will be presented to them, ensuring that this will strengthen the economic relations between both nations.

Ortega emphasized the importance of encouraging Nicaraguan companies to be open and knowledgeable about forming business alliances, noting that there has been a reliance on markets in North America, Central America, and somewhat in Europe, but it is necessary to look further.

We must recognize that there are good opportunities with sister countries and work in that direction to strengthen commercial and economic relations, he noted.

The presidential advisor also announced that the China-Latin America Business Summit will be held in Nicaragua in November, a global event that will take place in our country.

He pointed out that they are still in the preparatory stages, coordinating and cooperating with the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, the main organizer of the event.

He also announced that for the third time, Nicaragua will participate in the China Import Expo held annually in Shanghai, where a delegation of entrepreneurs will be present. This expo opens opportunities for these companies to establish alliances, sign contracts, and make agreements.
